The Neema Hospital, located at Kahawa Sukari, is a community hospital designed to provide quality, affordable and sustainable health care to all.<\/p>\n

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n
1. Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.<\/li>\n
2. Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.<\/li>\n
3. Promote patient\u2019s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.<\/li>\n
4. Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division\u2019s philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.<\/li>\n
5. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.<\/li>\n
6. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.<\/li>\n
7. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.<\/li>\n
8. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.<\/li>\n
9. Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.<\/li>\n
10. Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. title: nurse, registered<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Over two (2) years\u2019 experience.<\/li>\n
    2. Registered nurse with a Diploma in Nursing from KMTC or other recognized nurse training institute.<\/li>\n
    3. \u00a0Valid and current registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       KEY COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

       \n
       1. At least 2 years working in a busy hospital set-up.<\/li>\n
       2. \u00a0Strong leadership, team building, conflict resolution and ability to deliver the Society\u2019s strategic objectives.<\/li>\n
       3. Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, email and utilization of the internet.<\/li>\n
       4. \u00a0Should be a team player and culturally sensitive.<\/li>\n
       5. \u00a0Strong communication skills: oral, written and presentation skills<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
