We are seeking to recruit a highly ambitious, bold and an enabler candidate to fill in the following position

Job Summary:

The overall purpose of this job is to supervise and execute Tax related tasks for the clients in accordance to the engagement terms.

Main Responsibilities of Job:

  • Understand the client’s business and maintain good client service in line with established guidelines;
  • Understand sensitivity of client engagements and maintain client confidentiality in line with set policies;
  • Develop a good understanding of breadth of firm services offerings outside of personal area of practice;
  • Demonstrate personal actions and behaviours within and outside the workplace reflecting own reputation and the firm’s brand;
  • Understand and leverage on firm policies, procedures, methodologies and tools to help with efficiency;
  • Foster and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture to support daily business activities and interactions;
  • Should have basic understanding of the Tax laws and basic accounting;
  • Prepare any form of tax return and tax advise;
  • Undertake value added tax (VAT) refund audits, tax due diligence and tax health checks;
  • Make follow up with the Kenya Revenue Authority on client issues in line with requirement;
  • Attend to internal and external correspondence and queries with 48 hours with the guidance of the supervisor;
  • Prepare statement of accounts in response to Kenya Revenue Authority demands;
  • Have in depth knowledge on iTax software;
  • Assist tax team in development of publications including tax alerts;
  • Meet statutory deadlines in line with requirement;
  • Handle Statements of Accounts to conclusion and ensure fee notes are raised;
  • Pursue client billing on all assignments;
  • Act as a link person with Kenya Revenue Authority;
  • File and record documents chronologically in line with the set guidelines;
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation including developments in global and regional taxation, double tax agreements, transfer pricing and related tax issues.


  • Bachelor degree in Business related field Finance/ Accounting;
  • CPA/ACCA Finalist
  • Minimum of three years of experience+ post qualification experience in a reputable audit firm.
